A New Chapter

As our story progresses in the book of life, we turn the page to a new chapter within WrathOfGod. This part of the book starts off with a sad loss of a great player, a great man, a great leader but most importantly our great friend alkayel. Sadly following alkayels announcement, a few other dear and close members have decided to pursue greater matters. To these people we won’t be saying good bye but rather see you later, as we hope that these people will continue to keep in contact. Ochazuke & Mokizz & Ninemoons.

With every end comes a new beginning. Before alkayel departed, he left us a great legacy to continue and for his sake and for the sake of all the members and friends within WrathOfGod the story will continue. We will continue to grow strong and continue to aim ahead to achieve greater goals with the leadership of our new leader but old friend Catastrophic.

Under our new leader we have a new administrative board who will deal with issues ranging from raids, recruiting, promoting etc. These members and their roles are all outlined within the faction forum.

Each have our own role to play within this story and we may or may not expand this board of staff if the leader feels we need more help in running the faction. As for now, so far the new team has done extremely well by working together to resolve important problems and issues. The main issues which we have been dealing with so far include but aren’t limited to:

• Our new raid organizers managing to keep on track of things and making sure members participate and helping increase our daily raiding session attendance which have in turn increased the amount of items that are inflowing to our faction members.
• Strengthening our DPS teams with DPS loan equipment and with members giving up their time and main lineup to expert their DPS teams.
• Although we have been recruiting a large inflow of new members to replace our inactive members, we’ve managed to sort through and been able to maintain a non botting and instant kick policy.
• We’ve managed to keep on track with our Reward Point, RP system and have been keeping things as up to date as possible.
• Implementing a new system, a Raffle Ticket (aka Lottery Ticket) system, which recognizes and rewards those who farm and hunt important key items which at the end of the month will be drawn with 1st prize being 100m & 20EB’s (there will also be 2nd/3rd/consolidation prizes as well).
• Our new treasurer has done a great job at boosting the inflow of our faction funds.
• Our PvP Tournament is also progressing along, slowly, but eventually we will find out who is the best of the best in our faction for this month.
• We have implemented various ways to keep track of things including New members, Senior Promotions, Raid Bosses, Suggestion Box, Personal Blogs and hopefully more will come soon.

Colony War Report

Due to Ninemoons moving to another GE server I will endeavour to re-continue writing and updating CW reports. These past Colony Wars have been quite a challenge for WrathOfGod as our faction gets hammered week after week. This CW just past was a tough one with CARNAGE making a come back in addition to our past conflicts with other factions its another issue to worry about. Thankfully as we have enemies so to do we have allies. Although our high attendance every week is very good, it is near to impossible to fend off so many attackers without help. For this we give a shout out to Halcyon and Vradical.

 

These past few weeks have made Colony Wars within Cervantes what it should be, real war. Although difficult at times for us it is the challenges in life that make it worth living. For this we would like to thank Carnage, BlackSociety, GuardsOfHonour & ForeverVN for keeping the game fun and exciting and lets hope that we can keep these Colony Wars nice and clean without insults or threats. It is our policy within this faction that we do not insult or throw unnecessary comments at any time.

 

In the coming weeks we will be trying new and different things and looking at putting up proper faction policies. There will be some changes within the faction but in the end we will still be WrathOfGod. We will continue to strengthen our arms through raids but most importantly we will strengthen our friendships. Although the end has come for some members, it is just the beginning for the rest of WrathOfGod.

Goodbye Cervantes!

It has been a very long time since I have written anything on this blog. I guess, previously I’ve been bogged down because of many issues ranging from work to faction matters… but well that’s just an excuse . The real reason is because in the past few months I have been losing interest in GE.

Why? Well I don’t want to sound arrogant, but I guess the main factor is that I have achieved the goals that I set for myself at the beginning of the game. My main goal was to make WoG famous, and to a certain extent, we have achieved that. Of course we could not have done it without the aid of our allies, namely Halcyon and Vradical. Both of them have been through a lot with us since the days Illuminati and Fenrir dominated the map. Our alliance with Vradical dates back even to the old days of Yakisoba. I remember attending the weekly alliance meetings then and learnt the many strategies that the leaders of Dominion used to overcome Yakisoba. Those were the days when we were all noobs.

I have many fond memories of WoG and of GE, and I hope to share some of them with you

Over all I enjoyed playing GE very much. From the start GE gave me the chance to once again play with my ex guild mates from Ragnarok Online. It also cherished me with many new found friends. I would like to thank :

• Catastrophic for giving me his full support since our Ragnarok Online times till this very day. May you as WoG’s new leader continue to bring WoG to new heights!

• Callisto for his dynamic leadership, blogging and PvP skills. WoG would not be what it is today without you. I looking forward to play another MMORPG with you in the future!

• MinistryOfLaw for all her hard work behind the scenes. Thank you for the great amount of help you have rendered to the faction. May you excel in your studies and your career.

• Mafiaso for being our faction bouncer. LOL. More kills more fun!!

• Ochazuke for helping me handle my account when I’m not around and listening to all my crap.

• HunterX for treating me to frog’s leg porridge during CNY My treat next time.

• The rest of WoG, thanks for everything. You guys have been great. Sorry if I was ever harsh to you guys (and girls). May all of you live long and prosper (both in-game and in real life). Maybe we will meet once again in another game. (AION sounds good )

• The members of Halcyon and Vradical, thank you for the aid you have provided us in both boss raids and colony wars.
