Colony War 7th October

Summary

This week has been a very hectic week. A lot of movement between factions have occured with Anonymous and CARNAGE joining and making ASA [All Star Alliance]. Dominion falling apart and forming a sub group called Illuminati. With the news spread out that Dominion loss power, their colonys were free for all to attack which was exactly what happened.

7:00pm : The Hour Before the War

A very chaotic begining with leaders running left right and centre trying to decide what was best for the faction. I need to remind people to have a little faith in the leaders and try and be patient.

8:00pm: The Onslaught of Dominion

As soon as it was time for war, nearly all the major factions of Cervantes declared against the once great Dominion. One by one Dominion fell as they were vastly outnumbered. We too took part in the onslaught and took down El Cannon with little to no resistance [the whole time I fought 1-2 Domi's].

8:30pm: The Defense

As the dust settled upon the variouly recent captured colony’s, other factions began eyeing various opportunities. We happened to fall upon one of them. Although we didn’t want to face off with ASA we had no choice as they declared war on us. We held our defense well with aLKayeL’s main squad outside the perimeter of the colony and waging the main battle. My squad stayed closer to the colony and wiped out any that managed to break through or channel hopped. To be honest, ASA were a lot weaker than I expected them to be. We did very well considering their merger, although I can’t say for sure they were at full force at El Cannon (next colony war should be very very interesting considering our recent surge in recruits also).

9:00pm: The Offense

Having sucessfully fended off ASA we decided to turn the tide of war by starting our offensive tactics. Catastrophic lead a small contingent to Porto Bello Deserted Quay to attempt to take Quay.

Myself and NightKenshin decided to become Commando elite soldiers and warped to Via Fluvial in an attempt to distract enemy forces. When we warped in no one was in sight and as we summoned our Valkyries the enemy started showing up. At first one or two families came to defend their colony and we succussfully assasinated them. Then more and more families came, at this point I think a full squad of veterans came to defend the colony. Myself and NightKenshin still managed to delay them and we even managed to kill most of them off but we were simply outnumbered. My fighter took on their whole squad for 5minutes after everyone else was dead on the floor. Vortex slash after vortex slash the enemy kept dying but like mindless zombies rose up each time I killed another. In the end we did our job, bravely we sacrificed ourselves and managed to distract a portion of their forces in hope that our main offensive task force could break through.

9:40pm: The Surprise

The wind was still and the noise of the swaying trees that once rustled were quiet, too quiet. We knew something was brewing but we didn’t expect anything like what was to come. With our small contingent posted to defend the colony in El Cannon, and a small scout party on the outskirts of the colony, we detected the enemy’s approach. Illumanti were coming, and they were coming hard. We recalled all our forces as soon as we noticed Illumanti’s declaration of war go up along with their Rotating Blades. We knew what was next…. ‘More Bloodshed’.

As soon as the declaration of war was finalized it was on. In the beginning we thought we had the upper hand, but we were so wrong. One by one our soldiers fell and with the clock ticking we needed more time. Vying for more time our Veterans tried their best, but in the end even my constant Chain Lightning killing multiple enemies it wasn’t enough.

[Side Story: I didn't realize it till after a bit but when I looked around for some scouts to help res my family, I realized my Ele was the only one running around all those red dots, looking at the faction chat I realized everyone else was regrouping... Somehow my ele managed (prob because of the elite robe) to survive and I ran around killing everyone who chased me... it was a damn funny sight to see how my ele out ran 3 fighters and killed one by one with Lightning and out-casting an ETS trying to cast HoD and PS.]

Although time was sparse for the enemy, losing the colony was a risk we could not afford. Desperate times called for desperate measures and I spawned multiple Sabel Tigers and other bosses and mobs which wiped out all the rotating blades in an instant.

10:00pm: The End

At the end of the day we took a colony, we defended our colony, we attacked another colony, we held our colony, we own the El Cannon Colony. Be proud soldiers of war, for we have a place we now call our own in this world of war and Granado Espada.

PvP Training Session Update

Maybe I might make this into a post, it will probably be easier. Also to encourage participation I was thinking at the end of each month, we will tally up the number of rounds won per person and the person with the most wins will win a prize of some sort. This is just a possibility, I’ll discuss this with the other higher ups and see how we go.

1v1 Matches

Round 1: Liverpoolitean vs Graywolf [Draw]

Note: I logged Graywolf to play in his account, The round resulted in a draw when a flying mboma vs’d a fighter without pistols. The round took too long which resulted in a draw.

Round 2: Ochazuke vs Inazuki [Winner: Ochazuke]

Veteran fights are always the most interesting. With both players rushing into each other it was a clash of titans. Unfortunately for Inazuki, Ocha’s multi character control helped him res his characters before Inazuki could kill them off. Good fight guys hope to see what will happen next week with Inazuki borrowing some gear off me for his Ele =P

Round 3: Callisto vs aLKayeL [Winner: Callisto]

Close match, amazing fight with aLKayeL’s twin fighters and romina resser it was a tough battle. The round started off with my ele dying first with his fighters on full assault on the cardboard ele (yeah she’s cardboard even though she has an Elite Robe) and me taking out one of his fighters. Using his romina he ressed the fallen fighter and I used that time to res my ele which spammed Lightning. Lightning proved to be too strong for the poor romina and the twin fighters.

Round 4: Ichimaru vs Muguruma [Winner: Ichimaru]

Muguruma only controlled his Andre and ETS as they were his side characters which were roughly Ichi’s level. No match against the fearsome Elementalist’s Lightning power doing 1 hit ko’s.

Round 5: Sanzen & Ichimaru vs xxxiFxxx [Winner: xxxiFxxx]

The round started off good with both Sanzen and Ichi rushing xxxiFxxx at once and doing non stop skill spamming knockbacks. But the level gap proved to be too much with Sanzen 7x and Ichimaru 6x and xxxiFxxx 8x.

Round 6: Liverpoolitean vs Inazuki [Winner: Liverpoolitean]

Even though it was a 9x (liverpoolitean) vs a Veteran (Inazuki) Liverpooliteans donated gear seemed to be more than Inazuki could handle. Classic exaxmple of how equipment can out-trump level and skills.

Mass PvP Round:Forgot to take down the details, but I did manage the screenshot. There were two rounds one with Yellow Defending and the other with Blue defending. Cant really remeber the details but I know Yellow team was comprised of Myself, Graywolf, xxxiFxxx and Muguruma, Blue team had aLKayeL, Lordvandor, Inazuki and some others (sorry I can’t remember who participated). It was a tough defense battle with me controlling both my family and gray’s. Blue team used their distance to their advantage and posted snipers to pick off our defensive wall. Lordvandors Elite 84 Rifle proved to be really deadly picking off people with his Executioner Shots. I managed to sneak Gray’s Wizard behind the Blue team at the start and casted HoD which got nearly the whole Blue team stunned. This was the opportunity and the Yellow team rushed. From here it was chaos. Inazuki’s Fireball’s proved to be really hampering by constantly knocking back and aLKayeL’s romina proved to be no small feat to kill as she kept ressing the fallen. Yellow team kept attacking and eventually I managed to pick off the last Blue team scout as the last Yellow team scout also died. In the final moments of the fight the only one’s left standing where Callisto’s fighter, aLKayeL’s twin fighters and xxxiFxxx’s 8x fighter (impressive feat considering he is 8x and took on Veterans). Alas xxxiFxxx’s fighter died leaving myself to take on twin fighters. Chucking on Guardian mode while I thought of a plan, aLkayeL threw everything he had from his twin fighters, and constantly spammed skills. Block Block Block Block…. Eventually my Fighter managed a Vortex Slash with my +6 Lancelot to the Advance Garde fighter and took it out. It was down to Mono on Mono, man on man, one on one match. I knew if I stayed alive the round would have ended and Yellow team would have succesfully defended. Unfortunately for aLKayeL I wasn’t about to take the cowards way out and ‘finally‘ after 5 minutes a Stunning Skewer breached aLKayeL’s shield and it was the end. With the fighter stunned a final Vortex Slash ended the round.

Once again thanks for all who participated and helped make this event fun. Hope to see more people participating next week. I’ll try and record and document these matches better next time, but ya it’s a tad bit hard recording videos, taking screenshots, documenting what happens and controlling two families at once on multiple pcs. Maybe someone can volunteer to help me out and be the Faction Historian and Faction Photographer =P
